The Beginner Mat Series

This is a series of 5 Beginner Mat Pilates classes, ranging from 45 – 60 minutes each. These classes are based on the STOTT PILATES Essential repertoire. STOTT PILATES is the most highly recognised international brand of Pilates, renowned for its anatomical precision and thorough research. These classes will equip you with the building blocks of Pilates and strengthen your body three-dimensionally. We slow the pace down in these classes and take you back to the basics, emphasising breath and precision.

These classes can be repeated as many times as you like. They will always be there for you to revert to when you feel like a slower pace or to brush up on technique. You will also receive a link to a PDF discussing the Five Basic Principles of STOTT PILATES that Lisa refers to in these classes. This is for your interest and while the terminology used can be quite technical, the images are helpful in guiding you on the correct form and alignment. Once you have purchased this series, you will be emailed your unique links to download your classes as well as a 4-week calendar with a suggested program to follow to progress through these classes.
