ONLINE CLASSES

The Movement Lab doesn’t only offer classes, we also offer STOTT PILATES certification courses. All of our instructors are qualified in the most highly recognised international exercise brands with extensive experience, both locally and abroad.

We are redefining what people think about Pilates. Our classes are vibey, music-driven and dynamic. We specialise in challenging classes. Each class is completely different from the next, ensuring your body never gets used to the movements and you’re constantly taken out of your comfort zone.

You can download the free MindBody app from the App store and search “The Movement Lab”. Our schedule will appear and you can book through there. You can also book on our website on the “schedule” page. Alternatively, you can email or call us and we will assist you in finding a suitable class. 

Once you have booked your online class, you will be emailed an invoice with options to pay via card, Snapscan or EFT. An online drop-in is R100 and a package of 10 online classes is R800. 

We use minimal props in our online classes to make them as accessible as possible. The props that we do use can always be substituted with everyday household items. Our most common props are light hand weights, a small ball, a Theraband, a resistance loop and a chair.

We will always inform you of the props you will need in the email that is sent to you with the link to join. That email is sent 20 minutes prior to class commencement.

We can send you a recording of the class. Just email us (themovementlabsa@gmail.com) and let us know you can’t make it and you’ll be emailed a recording after the class is complete. 

This is totally up to you. You decide whether you want to broadcast your video or not. Some of our clients leave their video on and others turn it off. 

We have many pregnant clients who do our online classes, but it does depend on a few factors like whether you were doing Pilates before you fell pregnant, what trimester you’re in etc.
